  1. I just learned about the conference recently. It looks fantastic; you have done a great job.

We won’t be able to participate this year, because we will be playing in DC on the 31st. But we’d like to participate in the future, could help by bringing drums, etc. Would you add me to the email list? Thanks.

    • Hi June thank you for commenting and for your kind words. Is KyoDaiko on the taikoforum.com map? That’s how we did most of our outreach. I’m sorry that we didn’t manage to get to you!

I’ll also definitely pass your information onto the next hosts.

      Thank you again,

      Cheryl Tan

    • Hi June!

Thank you for your comment. I will try to make sure that the next hosts have KyoDaiko on their mailing list. Is your group email on the taikoforum.com group map? That was what we used to do our outreach this year.

    • Great question! Parking is free in visitor/faculty lots on campus after 4pm on Friday, so we should be all set in that respect. If you happen to need to arrive before then, there is visitor parking on Wyllys Avenue right near the World Music Hall which will be our center of activity for the first day!

      Thank you for your comment!

      Cheryl

  2. I really ponder why you labeled this posting, “Eastern Taiko Conference 2012 | March
30 – April 1, Wesleyan University (Middletown CT)”.

Either way I admired the blog!Regards-Velma
